Giveaway: Fabric Bracelets

It has been an incredibly cruel summer...
too hot to focus, to create, to sit still.
But after a few days of idle hands,
I found the best thing to make on days like these.
I'm excited to share with you my latest handmade obsession.
Fabric Bracelets.

I made these fabric bracelets in a bohemian-style...really loose, raw edge,
and spirited in hues of blues and greens.
These can be yours.

To sign up for this giveaway,
leave me a comment and
tell me what crafty goodness you are creating this summer.
The winner will be randomly selected and
announced on Monday July 25th

I also wrote a tutorial HERE.
Check it out and learn how to make your own.

I hate to sound like I'm rubbing it in, but I live in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, where we've had only a handful of 80+ degree days so far. I'm spending most of my crafty time outside, trying to get my yard in shape. I could see making some of these to dip in water to put around my head, wrists, neck, etc. for those hot days. Yes, 75 degrees around here is bordering on "too hot," so I feel for the rest of the US. I'd love to win these, as I'm Bohemian at heart.

I just came across your blog and I'm really enjoying the browse. Tutorials, giveaways, and a flashback to the 80's with your post from July 12th! I'd love to be entered in for your bracelets. They look so colorful and lightweight and so very summery.

Cheers,
Jane S.

Aloha Alma, My only crafty projects so far this summer have been playing with the workshop materials over at 21 Secrets. Well actually, I made some greeting bards for my grandchildren and am making some poetry/affirmation journals to give as Christmas gifts.

Your bracelets are lovely and one of the magical synchronicities that make life so much fun is that earlier today I was drooling over this color palette http://www.colourlovers.com/palette/437077/gemtone_sea_shore

Oh, I'd love to win these. How gorgeous. I don't know if I'd have the patience or the time this summer to make any, but I know that green would go perfect with half my wardrobe ;)
Love them!
I'm trying to get some photos scrapbooked. That's about the only creative outlet I'm going to get, busy as we are at work and then with family at home.

Oh, such beauties! And they look like they'd be super light weight and fun to wear. My creative adventure right this minute is re-painting and de-stashing my studio. HUGE amount of work but I'm a few days away from done and when I AM done I'll be better able to focus on my new addiction: paper bag albums. Thanks for offering this giveaway; my painty fingers are crossed.

Beautiful bracelets in lovely sea and sky colours. I'm working with paper and a variety of media this summer. West coast of Canada - what summer? we've only had a couple of warm days in a row, mixed with cloudy rain.

Hi Alma, these are beautiful bracelets! (I wonder if they're baby-proof? My little guy is teething and putting everything from my fingers to his toys to the edge of the table on his high chair in his mouth!)
My creative efforts have been over at 21 Secrets. I'd never art-journalled before signing up and I'm hooked now!
Thanks for another lovely giveaway. :)

These are so fun, Alma! (I'm happy to let someone else win your lovely bracelets, though, since I'm not much of a bracelet wearer.)

Like Lucy, I'm in the cooler Northwest. But work has been crazy busy, so I've not had a lot of energy for crafting. I'm very slowly finishing a banner for a swap. I have some dyeing plans in the next week or so, plus I'm taking a visual journaling class from Teesha this weekend. It's all good.

I'm playing with some hand dyed wool this summer, crazy I know in this heat but I can't keep my hands off the stuff.

These bracelets are AMAZING!!! I received my "spin art" machine in the mail yesterday and can't get enough of playing with it. Today I used watercolors and fine pt black markers. I hope to make time to scan some of them and post on the 21 Secrets site. Thanks for sparking my creativity!!! Patty M.
